JPMorgan's Andrews gets global role for emerging market equities

The bank hopes to better capture the growth opportunities by adopting the same geographical approach as its largest clients.
JPMorganÆs Head of Asia-Pacific Equities, Nick Andrews, has been given an additional role at the firm as head of emerging markets for global equities. This is part of an attempt by the bank to better coordinate its efforts within this fast growing part of the equity market.

AndrewsÆ appointment, which is effective immediately, follows JPMorganÆs move in early 2006 to set up a global operation for its equity division which includes cash and derivatives trading as well capital markets.
