Alphaland Corporation: The Philippines-based property development company announced that it will appoint Marianna H. Yulo chief financial officer (CFO) on March 16. She will replace Raul C. Pagdanganan who will step down from the position on the same day.
Ascott Residence Trust: Ivy Lim Faye Yik was announced head of finance at the Singapore-based real estate investment trust (Reit) on March 9. She joined the company from PST Management where she was CFO for more than three years. Lim has more than 20 years of experience in treasury and financial management and will be responsible for helping deliver stable returns for Ascott.
Best World International: The Singapore-based health and nutritional supplement products distributor announced the appointment of Koh Hui as group financial controller on March 4. She has been acting group financial controller since May 8, 2009 when she was appointed to replace Chew Nam Yeo. Koh has been at the company since 2003 when she joined as finance manager and was promoted to group finance manager a year later.
JES International Holdings: Tan Heng Jang was appointed group financial controller of the Singapore-based ship building and steel structure processing company on March 10. He is responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions and joined from JDSU T&M Singapore where he was regional project manager. Previously he had been at Heidelberg Group for almost 10 years, joining as an accountant in 1999.
Westech Electronics: The Singapore-based electronic components distributor promoted Loh Eng Lock vice president of finance on March 11. He assumed the responsibilities of Siu Yeung Sau who resigned as CFO on the same day. He joined Westech Electronics in November 2008 as finance manager and was previously audit manager at MS Ong and Associates for more than three years.
