ABN Amro has appointed Graham Drinkwater head of its Melbourne corporate finance activities, bringing the total new appointments in the past six months to 15.
Head of corporate finance at ABN Amro, Steve Gregg, says the appointment is part of a commitment to expand the Melbourne, Australia team, to provide a full range of advisory services to clients.
"Melbourne is a critical part of our Australian operations, and Graham's appointment is a part of our plan to build a strong and integrated product offering for our Melbourne clients," Gregg says.
"Graham's extensive corporate advisory experience specializing in the mining and resources sector, will complement a team that has already been involved in some of the largest advisory and equity capital market roles in the Australian market in the past six months."
Drinkwater joins ABN Amro from North Limited where he was a group executive heading the commercial team for business development. Prior, he was a corporate finance director with Macquarie Bank and before that, divisional head with Barclays Bank/First National Bank Group in South Africa.
