Caption Competition Results

Our caption competition is being closed early because it is diverting this correspondent from weightier matters such as China’s privatization programme, the merger of Korean banks and whether those Australian geisha girls are likely to pass through Hong Kong again. We received an abundance of entries, many too fecund in their imagination to reach your eyes. Indeed, picture 1, of the lovely cigar lady, does not have a winner for this very reason.
