Centro Digital Pictures has beefed up its senior management team, with three key appointments. Francis Choi becomes chief operating officer; Stanley Wong, chief creative officer; and Gordon Cheung, director of business development.
With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, Choi will be in charge of conceiving, designing and executing action and strategies. He was more recently chief representative, PRC, at Inmarsat.
Wong will expand the companyÆs creative teams and be responsible for brand development. Previously, he was CEO and executive creative director of TBWA Hong Kong. He has also worked for DMB&B (HK); Grey (HK); J Walter Thompson; and Bartle Bogle Hegarty (Asia Pacific) in Singapore, where he was regional creative director. Wong, a highly regarded agency veteran, has received over 200 graphic design and advertising awards.
Cheung, who has more than 20 years' experience in the film entertainment industry, will oversee the overall strategy execution related to the sales, marketing and distribution of CentroÆs content productions. He will also develop new channels for distribution. Cheung has served as the vice-president of distribution at Vestron Pictures Inc. (USA) and Golden Harvest Entertainment (Hong Kong).
