International law firm Clifford Chance has rolled out several new partnership appointments throughout the region, as part of 30 promotions in the firm globally. In Asia, the firm welcomes new partners, which will be spread amongst its Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai offices.
In its Hong Kong offices, Scott Bache, qualified in Hong Kong and Australia, has been promoted and will continue to specialise in restructuring and insolvency. Also moving up the ladder in Hong Kong is Connie Heng, who specialises in international securities offerings, distressed debt and structured finance. She is also qualified to practice in England & Wales, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Contentious and non-contentious intellectual property expert Ling Ho will also ascend to the partnership in the city-state and also holds qualifications in England, Wales and Hong Kong.
Across the border, Clifford Chance has also appointed Ting Ting Tan to partner in its Shanghai operations. Tan, who specialises in international banking and project finance, is also qualified to practice in Singapore, England, Wales and New York.
In Singapore, Joan Janssen comes to the partnership with experience in international debt and equity capital markets, and qualifications in Singapore, England and Wales.
According to Peter Cornell, Clifford Chance's managing partner, the 30 global appointments represent all practice areas within the firm and constitute promotions in 11 of its global offices.
