CLSA has announced a series of key appointments to its sales and research teams worldwide.
Marybeth McNamara is to join the firm's Hong Kong-based hedge fund team. McNamara has experience managing sales trading teams for several investment houses in Hong Kong over the last eight years and was most recently with ABN Amro.
CLSA's research team will see the addition of Neel Sinha. He will primarily cover telecommunications and media and will be based out of Singapore. Sinha was previously head of TIPs research at Berkshire Energy. Prior to that he worked with SG Securities and ABN Amro.
In London, Colin Maynard will take on the position of head of sales and trading for Europe. Maynard has had over 20 years of experience trading in international equities and derivatives markets, the last four of which he spent with UBS Warburg.
In New York, Todd Steeves will be the new addition to the Japan Sales team. Steeves was formerly a member of the Japan equity sales team at Goldman Sachs.
