Nicholas Crossin will return to the Singapore offices of Allen & Overy, Shook Lin & Bok Joint Law Venture in a move described as strengthening its banking and projects practice in Asia. Crossin returns to the Singapore team as partner following an internal transfer from the firm's London offices.
In London, Crossin was a member of the projects group and previously worked for Allen & Overy in the Lion City from 1998 to 2002.
Recently he has advised on a series of high profile deals including CNOOC and Shell Petrochemical's $4.3 billion development and financing of the CSPC Nanhai petrochemicals project in China in 2002 and Qalhat LNG S.A.O.C on its development and $688 million financing of an LNG project in the Sultanate of Oman in 2004.
His experience is particularly pertinent to banking and financial matters, with emphasis on project finance. Crossin is admitted to practice in both Victoria, Australia and England and Wales.
