Krista Yue has been appointed by Deutsche Bank as its new head of Taiwan equity research, based in Taipei. With immediate effect, she will assume direct research coverage responsibility for Taiwan banks and equity strategy, in addition to the lead role.
Yue crosses to Deutsche from JPMorgan where she was most recently head of its Taiwan research team. Her experience also extends to senior positions with Goldman Sachs and HSBC Asset Management.
In total, she brings more than 10 years experience in the investment industry in Canada, Hong Kong and Tawian. For the past four years, she has been focused on the sell-side.
Upon starting at Deutsche Bank, Yue reports to Dave Murray, head of company research, global emerging markets. She replaces Ken Chen, who earlier in the year departed Deutsche for UBS, where he took on the role as managing director, head of equity research and equity strategy for Taiwan.
