Deutsche Bank has continued the ongoing alignment of its global transaction banking (GTB) division, announcing the appointment of Nathchanya Davivongse as head of trade finance and cash management corporates for Thailand. Effective immediately, she takes on the role in Bangkok and comes at a time when the bank is integrating its trade finance, cash management and trust and securities services (TSS) under the GTB banner.
Davivongse wil report directly to Tom DuCharme, Deutsche's Singapore-based head of trade finance and cash management corporates for Asia Pacific. She takes on the newly created role after joining the German firm's Bangkok branch in 2004.
Initially, Davivongse was drafted in to lead Deutsche's local cash management corporates franchise for Thailand and in 2005, saw her role expanded to include the domestic custody business and subsequently a lead role in its Thailand transaction banking team.
Prior to Deutsche she was head of cash management, Thailand for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Davivongse's career has also extended to HSBC, where she held the post of vice president, client services in Thailand.
