Dorsey & Whitney has hired Chang Joo (C.J.) Kim as a partner in the corporate department of the firm's the New York office. Kim is responsible for the Korean practice group, which includes restructuring, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
He joins from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and has represented clients such as Korea Asset Management Corporation, Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation and Korea Electric Power Corporation, as well as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS Warburg.
