Less than year after quitting UBS Warburg, Jae Hong Lee has returned to take the role of head of corporate finance and bank branch manager in Korea.
Hong spent five years at UBS in Korea, where was described as being a "key member" of the corporate finance team, "instrumental in the origination and execution of a number of key transactions". He left last year to join ABN Amro and, following a short stint there, is now returning to the UBS fold.
Bringing almost 20 years of banking experience in Korea to the role, Hong will report to Peter Burnett and Mark Dowie, joint heads of corporate finance, Asia.
Current head of corporate finance C K Lee will be staying on as chairman of the company in Korea. He has quit the head position to "focus on senior corporate relationships", according to Burnett.
