HSBC has reorganized its debt syndicate. Bryan Pascoe has been promoted from his role as head of syndicate in Asia to head of global debt syndicate. In this new role he will manage all investment grade product and continue to oversee Asia.
Pascoe will transfer to London in September to take on his new role.
His replacement in Asia is Sean Henderson, who has been with HSBC for six years in Europe and worked on the corporate syndicate desk. During that period HSBC has risen from 11th position to fourth in the league table for corporate Eurobond issuance, according to Bloomberg data.
Henderson, who hails from South Africa, has never been based Asia before, but has worked on a number of key Asian transactions in the past couple of years, including the recent euro-denominated deal for Hutchison Whampoa.
