HSBC's global payments and cash management team in Hong Kong has undergone a reshuffle. Lawrence Webb, senior vice president, Asia Pacific has moved to the role of senior vice president responsible for market development. He will be responsible for identifying market opportunities for expanding services throughout the Asia pacific region, coaching cash management teams and encouraging best practice.
Webb's previous role will be divided amongst two senior executives: Nigel White and Russell Graham. White will be responsible for all new cash management sales, including requests for proposals from new clients and new solutions for existing clients. Graham will be responsible for client services. His role will include implementation of HSBC's payments and operations systems and cash management products, as well as maintain ongoing relationships with clients. Both White and Graham will assume their new responsibilities at the end of this month.
