FinanceAsia is pleased to announce the launch of its Chinese-language website (cn.financeasia.com), providing dedicated coverage for our readers in mainland China.
The site will mirror most of the content we publish at FinanceAsia.com and translations of our daily news stories will also be delivered each weekday lunchtime in a newsletter that readers can subscribe to here.
“Our English website has never been more popular and we’re confident that there’s also a big appetite in China for our timely coverage and in-depth analysis of Asia’s financial markets,” said Nick Ferguson, editor of FinanceAsia.com. “We’ve been developing this site since last year, in partnership with CLS Communication, and hope that Chinese readers find it useful.”
The number of unique visitors to FinanceAsia’s website hit a record level in March, as global interest in Asia’s economic growth continues to rise. Readership surveys specifically show that people want to read more about China. So, this month we are including a supplement dedicated to the internationalisation of the renminbi with our May magazine. "We continuously try to produce content that is cutting edge and what our readers need to help them stay ahead of their competition," said Lara Wozniak, editor of FinanceAsia.
For example, we have expanded our offering to include the development of new distribution channels such as mobile apps and last year we launched our Corporate Treasury News website.
With the launch of our Chinese website, we are now hoping to satisfy the other side of that demand: the increasing interest in China for news about the rest of the world and, in particular, the Asia region.
