The equity capital markets continued at a slow pace this week with $242 million raised from six issues, bringing year-to-date volume to $58.8 billion from 734 deals. The top 10 league table rankings remain unchanged with Goldman Sachs, UBS and Citigroup taking out the top three places.
The largest issue of the week was the $105 million convertible for IndiaÆs Videocon Industries. BNP Paribas led the deal on a sole basis and sits outside the top 10 in the league tables.
IndiaÆs WNS (Holdings)Æ $228 million IPO is scheduled to price next week via bookrunners Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank Securities and Merrill Lynch. Morgan Stanley is currently ranked fourth in the tables, Merrill Lynch takes out seventh and Deutsche Bank sits in eighth place.

The debt capital markets had a silent week with zero trades. Total volume stands at $20.9 billion from 54 deals for the year so far with Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and UBS in the top three.
