League table round up July 7

The Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets start off the quarter quietly
Equity Capital Markets

The equity capital markets were subdued in the opening week of the third quarter, raising a total of $195 million from 11 issues. The league table rankings remain unchanged since last week with Goldman Sachs perched at the top with $8.3 billion and UBS and Citigroup following in second and third places.

The $84 million fully marketed deal for TaiwanÆs Key Ware Electronics was the largest issue for the week and led by Horizon Securities.

Debt Capital Markets

The debt capital markets had a quiet start to the quarter with zero trades. The rankings remain static with Morgan Stanley sitting in first place with $3.1 billion while Citigroup and UBS round out the top three.

A $150 million deal for Korea Exchange Bank priced late last week bumped HSBC up a notch to seventh place.
