Lehman Brothers has hired James Lee as senior vice president and head of liability derivatives marketing for Asia-Pacific. He will report to Joonkee Hong, head of global finance, Asia-Pacific, and to Kirk Sweeney and Tetsu Serizawa, co-heads of Asia fixed income sales.
Lee will be responsible for providing risk management solutions for institutional clients to manage their liabilities. His team will expand further when Stephen Shin joins as a vice president from Merrill Lynch later this month.
Lee joins from UBS, where he was head of Korea debt capital markets and derivatives marketing and most recently head of derivatives marketing for Southeast Asia. He is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA from University of Southern California.
