Lipper, the fund information and analysis company, has announced that Michael Peace has been promoted to CEO. Since 1999, Peace has been managing director of Lipper Asia based in Hong Kong. Before that Peace spent 14 years with Reuters in sales and marketing roles in the UK and Asia.
Peace is replacing Sarah Dunn who has been promoted to President, Corporate and Media Services Customer Segment for the Reuters Group. Reuters bought the privately held Lipper Group in 2000. Peace will remain in Hong Kong for the next few months before moving to New York early in the new year.
Commenting on his appointment, Dunn says, "Michael's broad international experience will be a key asset to Lipper as we continue our global development."
