Lovells has promoted 12 new lawyers to the partnership globally, with three the magic number in Asia.
In Hong Kong, the firm welcomes Prisca Lo to the partnership. Lo is a member of Lovells' international finance practice in Hong Kong and upon ascending to the role will continue to specialise in structured finance, including tax-driven structured and securitisation, and acquisition finance.
Across the border, Lovells' Beijing practice will welcome Andrew McGinty as partner. He will continue focusing his expertise on corporate and commercial, M&A and foreign direct investment in China specialising on TMT, competition and real estate matters.
Lloyd Parker, who heads the intellectual property team at Lovells' Tokyo office, also heads to the partnership after seven years living in Japan. He has practiced as an intellectual property lawyer since 1998. Aside from being a fluent Japanese speaker, Parker is a registered foreign attorney in Japan.
Following the promotions, Lovells will boast 329 across 26 offices in Europe, Asia and North America.
