Paul Hastings has announced the promotion of Huawei Lin to the position of counsel at its Beijing offices, the second lawyer there to gain the title.
Lin brings over 10 years China experience, including practice in the private and public sectors, with a primary focus on foreign direct investment, non-performing loans, real estate and real estate financing in the country. In addition, Lin also has experience in merger and acquisitions, securitisation and structured finance, debt and corporate restructuring, alternative dispute resolution, corporate finance and venture capital.
Recently, Lin played a key role in Paul Hastings' involvement in Huarong II, Huarong Wuhan and China Construction Bank NPL auctions. His clients also include American, Japanese and European investment banks, private equity investors and multinational companies across a range of different industries including real estate, telecommunications, securities, insurance, pharmaceuticals, foreign-funded schools and mining equipment manufacturing.
