We toasted Indonesia's best managed companies earlier this month at a dinner hosted by FinanceAsia and Credit Suisse. Senior executives, bankers and regulators gathered at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Jakarta to acknowledge the companies named in our 12th annual Best Managed Companies poll.
The event recognised companies in Indonesia for their commitment to good corporate governance, effective investor relations and strong shareholder value, as well as acknowledging their efforts to be good corporate citizens. Astra International swept three categories, including Best Managed Company, Best Corporate Governance and Best Corporate Social Responsibility.
