More than 150 business leaders from across the region gathered in Hong Kong on June 27 to attend FinanceAsia's annual Country Awards gala dinner to celebrate outstanding financial institutions and service providers for their contributions to Asia’s banking industry.
FinanceAsia’s awards are recognized as an annual benchmark for domestic and international banks and complement our year-end regional and cross-border awards for excellence.
This year, our winners took home their awards after enjoying a sumptuous five-course meal and participating in an interactive quiz session at The St. Regis Hong Kong.
Bank Central Asia was crowned Best Asian Bank for the fourth year in a row, beating banks from 18 Asian countries.
HSBC also excelled. The team was called onto the stage nine times for multiple awards across the region, including a grand slam of six domestic banking awards in Hong Kong.
SSI snapped up three awards including Best Investment Bank, Best ECM House and Best Broker in Vietnam, one of the fastest growing markets in the region last year.
