Rothschild named Henry Ho as non-executive chairman for Southeast Asia.
Ho will be based in Rothschild’s Singapore office and the appointment took effect on Tuesday.
He will work closely with the global financial advisory and wealth management and trust teams across Southeast Asia to continue the development of Rothschild’s businesses in the region.
Ho has a close relationship with Temasek, having acted as one of their managing directors from 2009 to 2010 and as chief executive officer of one of their investee companies, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia between 2010 and 2015.
Ho previously worked for Citibank and during his tenure at the US bank held various senior roles in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
He has also held senior roles at PT Bank International Indonesia between 2004 and 2009 and at Saudi American Bank in Saudi Arabia.
