Frank Slevin will take on an added role at Citigroup, with the bank announcing his appointment as the global corporate and investment banking head for Hong Kong with immediate effect. Although accepting the newly created role, Slevin continues to hold the position of Citigroup's investment banking division head for Hong Kong.
Slevin will remain in Hong Kong and will report to T.C. Chan, country officer, Hong Kong and head of Greater China, global corporate and investment banking. Slevin will also have a reporting line to Mark Renton, head of investment banking, Asia-Pacific, who recently moved to the territory from Citigroup's New York headquarters.
Slevin joined the firm in 2002 as managing director and head of Hong Kong investment banking, the position he will continue to hold. In addition to spending the last eleven years in Hong Kong, he has also worked in the banking sector in London, New York and Asia.
