Citigroup has appointed Chi-Cheng Teh to the Kuala Lumpur office as director and head of research for Malaysia. Teh will report to Otto Wong, managing director and head of Asia Pacific equity research.
Before making the move to Citigroup, Teh spent two years as executive director of research at Hwang-DBS Vickers. He has also worked as a vice president in research at SG global equities and at CLSA as a senior analyst.
Teh is also a CFA charterholder and hold an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in accounting and finance from the University of Warwick.
"Teh is a seasoned analyst and experienced head of research in Malaysia," saysWong, responding to the new hire. "His long experience will add tremendous value to the business."
