ANZ China has appointed Tim Chang as director, corporate finance.
Chang (pictured) will be based in Shanghai and will start on November 18. HIs main area of focus will be on supporting syndicated lending and on the corporate finance business across China.
Since joining ANZ in 2012, Chang has held a number of senior roles in Singapore, Hong Kong and Melbourne, including director in resources, energy and infrastructure, and associate director, corporate finance international.
He has managed a global portfolio of clients and has acted as the key contact for Chinese clients on structured and complex transactions, according to a media release.
A spokesperson for ANZ told FinanceAsia that Chang is relocating from Singapore to Shanghai for the role.
Commenting on the appointment, ANZ China head of corporate finance, Yan Yang, said: “I’m looking forward to working with Tim to build an even stronger corporate finance business in China and drive results for our clients through our international network."
Yang added: “I’m particularly pleased to make this appointment internally, reflecting the depth of talent within our international business.”
Melbourne-headquartered ANZ employs approximately 300 staff in mainland China.
