Global Testing Corporation: George Tsai-Wei Wang was appointed chief financial officer of the Singapore-based semiconductor testing services provider on August 13. He replaced Judy Li-Chiu Hsu who was previously appointed as acting CFO. Wang will be responsible for all of the company’s financial functions. He has more than 18 years in finance and accounting and joined Global Testing Corporation from Tatung Otis Elevator where he was a director of finance.
K-One Technology: The Malaysia-based consumer electronics company promoted Oon Seow Ling group finance director on August 9. She will be responsible for the company’s accounting, treasury, taxation, legal and administrative operations. She is a registered certified public accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is also a chartered accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Transpacific Industries Group: Kevin Campbell will be appointed CFO of the Australia-based solid waste management company on September 1. He will replace Stephen Toms who was appointed as acting CFO.
VisionChina Media: The China-based television marketing company announced the resignation of CFO Scott Chen on August 6. His responsibilities will be assumed by the company’s senior financial controller,
WuXi Pharmatech: Edward Hu was appointed CFO of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device research and development outsourcing company on August 11. Hu was previously the chief operating officer of the New York-listed and China-based company. He replaced Hao Zhou.
