CMZ Holdings: Li Yongjian was appointed financial controller of the Singapore-based zipper producer on January 12. He was previously finance manager at CMZ Zipper (Wuxi), a wholly owned subsidiary of CMZ Holdings, for four years. His new responsibilities include all aspects of accounting, internal control compliance, financial planning and reporting.
Deyu Agriculture: The China-based organic and other agricultural corn and grain products company appointed Charlie Lin CFO on January 11. Lin joined Deyu Agriculture from Microfabrica, where he was corporate controller, and replaced David Lethem who resigned on the same day. He holds a bachelor and master degree in accounting from Wisconsin University.
Olam International: Silvina Crosa will be appointed CFO of NZ Farming Systems, a subsidiary of Singapore-listed Olam International at the end of February. She was most recently CFO of PGG Wrightson and will replace Andrew Clark who will resign at the same time. She holds a master of business administration degree from American University.
ShangPharma Corporation: The China-based pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development outsourcing company appointed William Dai CFO on January 10. He replaced Kevin Penghui Chen who will remain chief operating officer and was promoted to president of the company. Dai has more than 17 years of experience in accounting, financial management and capital markets and was most recently CFO of China Nepstar Chain Drugstore. He holds a bachelor degree in international business and English from Shanghai University’s College of International Business and a master degree in business administration from Michigan State University.
Vallianz Holdings: Yang Yung Kang resigned as financial controller of the Singapore-based audio equipment and accessories retailer and distributor on January 13. Finance manager Edmund Lim, who was appointed in November 2010, will assume Yang’s responsibilities until a suitable replacement is found.
