AstraZeneca: Global 500 and India-based pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca announced the appointment of Anita Zutshi as chief financial officer on April 26. Zutshi has more than 14 years' experience in the finance and media industries; her last post was as a senior financial consultant at Atria Convergence Technologies. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of Madras and a masters from the University of Mumbai.
Bright World Precision Machinery: The Singapore-based company appointed Jiang Hong Di executive director and group finance director following the resignation of Zhu Ping Guo on April 28. Jiang previously worked for Zhu as group deputy finance director and has been at the company for more than four years. She is responsible for directing, managing and controlling all of the accounting and financial functions at Bright World and its subsidiaries.
China Oriental Group: Au Yeung Siu Kei was appointed financial controller, company secretary and authorised representative on April 24 following the resignation of Chan Siu Kay on the same day. Au Yeung is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he holds a bachelors degree in professional accounting from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Connectcounty Holdings: The Malaysia-based cable and connector manufacturing company appointed Chong Hon Kuen as CFO on April 26. Chong joins Connectcounty from Bristol Myers Squibb's Asia-Pacific financial shared services operation where he was assistant financial controller. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants and fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Chong has a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Malaya.
Golden Ocean Management: Geir Karlsen resigned as CFO of Golden Ocean Management, a subsidiary of the Golden Ocean Group, a Bermuda registered and Norway-based dry bulk shipping company. His last day of employment will be July 31. The company is searching for a suitable replacement.
Panasonic Manufacturing: The electronics, electrical mechanical and electro-mechanical appliance company's manufacturing arm in the Philippines appointed Hiroyoshi Fukutomi as treasurer on May 1. This follows the resignation of Toshihiko Iwamoto who left the company on April 30.
Sino Construction: The Singapore-based building construction and civil engineering company appointed Angelia Sze Hoon Lim as CFO on April 23. Lim replaced Daniel Pin Jan Fong who resigned as CFO. Her responsibilities include reporting, accounting, financial investment reviews and taxation advisory for Sino Construction and its subsidiaries.
