ABN AMRO Rothschild has appointed Charles Tsui to a newly created position overseeing the technology sector of its Asian equity capital markets business.
Tsui will be based in Hong Kong and will be charged with helping Asian technology companies raise funds through primary equity markets and devising strategy in conjunction with ABN AMRO Asia's research department.
Michael Hammond, managing director and head of Asian equity capital markets, says the new appointment "marks another step in strengthening our sectoral approach across the region and the world."
Tsui comes from a legal background, having previously spent time at law firms Linklaters, and Herbert Smith, where he was closely involved in international investment banking activities.
