Tracy Sawyer, head of marketing at Johnson Stokes & Master in Hong Kong, has left to join White & Case as its director of client and business development for Asia Pacific. This is part of a broader effort by White & Case to expand throughout the region, as it prefaces adding people to marketing and business development in each of the firm's Asian offices.
George Crozer, executive partner, says the firm hired Sawyer to, "ensure we have one of the best client care programmes in the region".
Sawyer has five years of experience in business development for law firms, from client handholding to developing technology systems such as extranet facilities, virtual deal rooms, archives and client-specific home pages. Under her tenure at Johnson Stokes & Master, her team was awarded "law firm marketing team of the year" during the 2001 Asian Law Awards. Prior to that she worked at Allen & Overy in London.
