White&Case has announced the ascension of Jonathan Zimmerman to the partnership in Hong Kong. He rises up the ranks as a capital markets lawyer who advises investment banks and issuers throughout Asia on cross-border securities transactions, including high-yield and sovereign debt offerings, initial public offerings and privatizations.
Recently, Zimmerman represented Galaxy Casino, SA on its debut $600 million offering of high-yield notes pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. The transaction was the largest capital markets deal by a gaming company based outside the US and the first high-yield offering by a Macau casino operator.
His appointment comes as White&Case elects 24 new members to the partnership. Zimmerman’s promotion is effective 1 January.
