Neeraj Hora, who has been head of Nomura's CB and corporate equity derivatives business in Asia for almost three years, is leaving the firm. Sources say he intends to take a break from the industry.
Stuart Mackay is appointed head of ECM origination for Asia ex-China and Sam Kendall will return from London to replace him as head of Asia syndicate. The moves follow the resignation last week by Asia ECM head Mark Williams.
UBS's head of Asia ECM quits to join Nomura where he will head and rebuild the firm's ECM franchise in the region following the departure of Geoff Feldkamp earlier this year.
