Deutsche Bank appoints Leo Yin as president of China

Yin is also head of global corporate coverage for China, and is based in Beijing.

German giant Deutsche Bank (DB) has appointed Leo Yin as president of DB in China, effective October 29. 

Yin (pictured) was most recently head of global corporate coverage for China at DB, and will continue the role together with his new remit, according to a December 4 media release from the bank. He reports to Rose Zhu, chief country officer of DB China and chairperson of DB (China) Co. Ltd. 

Beijing-based Yin started his banking career at China Construction Bank, and has worked at multiple international financial institutions in China, including HSBC, Bank of America, Standard Chartered and BNP Paribas, across both transaction banking and corporate banking. 

The press release said that he has helped navigate the 'financial bridges' between China and gobal markets through banking solutions. 

Commenting on the appointment, Zhu said: "[Yin's] extensive experience, deep understanding of financial services, and proven leadership make him ideally suited to steer out bank during its next phase of growth."

DB offers corproate banking, investment banking and private banking businesses in mainland China. Headquartered in Beijing and incorproated as DB (China) Co. Ltd., the German global bank has branches across six major Chinese cities.
